Crop

Went to a crop tonight all by myself. First time I’ve been out alone in a while. I know that this sounds cliche, but I need my alone time. It helps just to think without the threat of my thoughts being interrupted by “Maaah-meee.” Of course, I wouldn’t want to do without hearing this completely, but it does help me to be a better Maaah-meee if I’ve had the chance to be alone…scrapbooking pictures of her

Jewels!

I am soo excited. It looks like I may have four local business carrying my jewelry! That is just astounding to me. I have been trying to come up with simple, clean packaging, but I want to keep it playful at the same time. Since my husband and I are also in the ministry, I thought that my brand should be “Sunday Best” and that each of my jewelry lines should be named for the people or places that inspire them. 

This bracelet would be in the Beth line. I attend a ladies’ Bible study on Tuesday mornings at Spartanburg Community Church. We did Beth Moore’s Stepping Up study, and this was a bracelet that we gave our Bible study leader. One of my friends, who is a shoe buyer for Hamrick’s, saw it and ordered three of them!! One was for her 2-year-old, shoe-loving neice.

Being able to do this while I’m “not working” (Those others of you who are SAHMs understand why this is in quotes.) is pretty great! God has blessed this love of beading/crafting that I have, and I thank Him for it!
